He did a downside whip with an icepick and cleared the bank transfer…scoot scoot!

The Heizhaus is hotting things up again. The first time I watched the indoor skate park in action I was surprised to find scooters and BMX bikes among the skateboarders. They were all spinning up and down and around like a cross between a motorcycle stunt cage and an atom. Amazingly no one collided, so no atomic head splitting happening there. May put Leipzig on the pro-scooter map with the arrival of Zig Short and Corey Vanlew, two of the most progressive riders in the rapidly growing scene. They were on their Big Time Tour which is taking them to Austria, Germany and Denmark all in only 7 days.

These guys make the tricks look so easy, but they aren’t all about scooting and nothing else. They are pretty ambitious as well. Zig Short is doing his best to produce high quality products for people who want to take their scooters to the next level which includes a wheel that can go from the park to the street and back again last year. He was tired of changing them all the time and the last thing he wants to do is worry about his wheels when he’s on a rail.. This is where Corey Vanlew comes in. He began doing graffitti and evolved into graphic arts. He is doing the designs and logos. They are getting ready to launch their own scooter magazine.

Want to know what I was talking about in the headline? OK , I cheated. There’s a tricktionary on Scoot Mag.

Keep your eye out. There’s a competition here in August and they’ll be back!
