Well, with a name like that, it must be a fun place to visit – I would imagine!
The first “Happy POP-UP-MARKET” is a market for handmade and fairly made products and takes place on the 6th + 7th of April.
Where: The Venue is the Kulturbar “Froelich & Glorious” in Lindenfels Westflügel eV, which is at 27 Hähnelstr., 04177 Leipzig.
Opening times: Saturday 6th April; 14:00 – 22:00, Sunday 7th April; 04.07.2013, 11:00-15:00.
How much: Admission is free for visitors.
The market sees itself as a forum for shopping for products beyond the usual, bland, everything the same offerings available on most high streets.
It also provides designers, artists, labels and small ‘mini’ companies with an opportunity to present and sell their handmade products. What is being proposed with this new venture has been developed with a lot of passion, attention to detail and great fun.
The product range is wide. In addition to jewelry, bags, fashion and product design there are many individual, small items to be purchased.
It could be the perfect opportunity of getting hold of a unique or special gift … especially as it will be so close to (German) Mother’s Day.
The creators of the products (from Leipzig, Jena, Erfurt and Berlin) will of course be there on the day and will be happy to answer all questions about their products..
Reaching the “Happy POP-UP-MARKET” by public transport is easy: Tram 14: stop K.-Heine-Straße/Merseburger road or tram 3 and bus 74: stop Felsenkeller
There will also be a fine range of cakes and drinks available at the Kulturbar “Froelich & Lovely”.

YES! That was me sitting across from that gorgeous man, but sadly not a date. I was talking to him about his business BastianSteinStyling.
As you can imagine from looking at him, Bastian started out modeling in Berlin and Paris. He loved the fashion environment, but didn’t enjoy the waiting around and soon started assisting photographer Vincenzo Laera. Bastian found this stimulation of his creative side rewarding and knew he had found his niche. It wasn’t long before others recognized his talent and he began styling spreads and writing features for magazines in Berlin and Paris.
Currently based in Leipzig, Bastian continues to hone his craft, adding television and personal styling to the mix; great if you want to look like a million every day or for a special occasion. Now you don’t have to be a model to look like one. I asked for the one most important simply-must-have to update my wardrobe for summer and he whispered, “White graphic patterns.”
